Uniforms

Uniforms are an important part of Scouts. However, they are NOT required in order to participate in any of your meetings or events. We would never want a Scout to miss an activity because a uniform wasn't purchased. Please simply come dressed appropriately for the occasion.

When you are ready to get a uniform, our local Scout Store can walk you through which items you need.

You may buy whatever you like for your rank but we do NOT require "Scout specific" brands of pants, socks or hats.

The Official Scout Uniform Shirt with the basic patches your red Pack numbers (173) and a rank specific neckerchief are all that we require for purchase to be considered in full uniform. Slides are nice but those can be hand made or omitted.

Belt loops and pin awards: Lions through Bears adventure loops are worn on a Cub Scout's belt. Webelos pins are worn on at item called Webelos Colors on the right sleeve of the tan uniform shirt or they may be placed on the Webelos hat.

The Pack also has some gently used uniform items. If you are interested please email Pack173@gmail.com

If you'd like to view/purchase the uniform items online you are welcome to do so but the shop can be helpful in making sure that you have the correct items for your rank.
